I stopped at the Tupelo Memorial Park Cemetery last Saturday and found the gravesite of Uncle Jim and Aunt Mary. There were entries for them on findagrave.com which showed their plot as "NW Quadrant". I wandered around a bit in what I surmised was the Northwest quadrant with no luck. I checked some other graves which showed plots as sections and rows. Finally I found one that showed "NW quadrant" and Jim and Mary were nearby. Looking at Google Map satellite view, the cemetery is bounded by railroad tracks on the west, Memorial Park Drive on the north, and Joyner Street and the residential area on Briarwood Circle on the east. To find the gravesite, go to the area of the cemetery that lies between Briarwood Circle and the railroad tracks. Stop at the northernmost of the 2 circles in the cemetery. Stand at the western edge of the circle facing the railroad tracks. The gravesite is 2 rows forward and to the right, I guess about 20 yards.
